The Bridal Body Workout Guide

Have you ever found yourself thinking you have to completely change your whole diet to start eating healthy? Despite what some people say, you don’t need to empty your cupboards to make a significant change. No big sacrifices, money investments, or fad diets, just simple everyday changes that you can start applying today. Wondering where to begin? These four tips are a great way to get started.

Introduce Whole Grains Into Your Diet

It’s time to swap out those refined grains for a healthy food alternative. Eating whole grains comes with a bunch of benefits such as lowering the risk of diabetes and heart disease as well as providing you with a great source of vitamin B, fiber, and more. When I’m out shopping my go-to’s are brown rice, oats, and quinoa. These are super easy to find and have plenty of delicious recipe options to choose from!

Swap out Trans Fats for Healthy Fats

It’s time to clear your kitchen of margarine and vegetable oils such as canola, soybean, and corn. Swap these out for healthier options such as olive oil, coconut oil, or even avocado to avoid any negative health effects.

Add a Little Colour to Your Plate

Are you guilty of serving potatoes or bread every night as a side dish? That’s okay, you’re not the only one! For a healthier meal try changing things up by adding some color to your plate. Vegetables are a great way to get your nutrients in without a high calories count. Plus, when seasoned right, they can be a complete gamechanger.

Eat Some Chocolate

That’s right you heard me! Chocolate can be considered a part of a healthy diet. Here’s why. Dark chocolate, in particular, is rich in antioxidants and can help your body decrease its blood pressure and lower inflammation. To get the best of both worlds, aim to buy chocolate that is at least 70% dark and enjoy!

Final Thoughts

It’s true when people say that small changes can lead to big results. While these won’t happen overnight, making a few minor adjustments to your daily routine is a big step forward in the right direction. Have any questions or want to learn more about my nutritional plans? Send me a message and let’s get started!
