Has planning your wedding left you feeling exhausted? If you are reading this right now, you’re right where you need to be. With what seems to be like an endless list of things to keep track of, it’s easy to get overwhelmed when preparing for your big day. Between finding the perfect dress, choosing your venue, creating a guest list, and deciding what’s on the menu, you’ve forgotten the most important thing of all – taking care of yourself. Whether you only have a few moments or can squeeze in 30 minutes of your time, these tips are sure to help reduce your wedding stress. Are you ready? Let’s get started!
Calm Your Mind
I want you to take a deep breath. Slowly count to 10 as you inhale and then backwards as you exhale. Once you’re done, repeat it all for a couple more breaths. Sounds simple? That’s because it is. Taking this time, no matter how short it may be to focus on your breathing is a great way to balance your mind as well as your body. If you have more time, try doing a meditation class to unwind from the day.
Step Outside
It’s time to look away from that phone, put your sneakers on, and step outside for some fresh air. If you’re feeling stressed, putting some music on, and taking a walk or even a quick loop around the block is a great way to take some time for yourself, clear your head, and lift your spirits.
Get Your Sweat On
It’s time to hit the gym, and by gym, I mean your workout session with me! Moving your body will not only take your mind off that pesky to-do list but will also help release endorphins into your system. While sometimes it takes a little effort to get on the mat, I promise you you’ll feel 100% better afterward.
Date Night for Two
Yes, you read that right, don’t forget date night! Doing something with your partner that is not, and I repeat not wedding related is a sure way to help you two relax and connect on a deeper level.
And voila, that’s it! While I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about easy ways to relieve stress, it’s time to put it into action!
Which one are you going to try first? Let me know in the comments below!
