The Bridal Body Workout Guide

Imagine this: It’s your wedding day. Your bridesmaids are getting dressed, the hair and make-up teams are on their way, the photographer is busy taking shots of all the action –  the official countdown has begun. Everything is going to plan, except you’re forgetting one thing. Food! In the midst of all the excitement, it’s easy to forget to eat, especially with all the butterflies in your stomach. But what is the best food to eat on the day of your wedding? To make you look and feel your best, here’s what I recommend…

Breakfast is Served

Breakfast is a must, especially on your wedding day! To keep your energy levels up and dance the night away, you need to fuel your body early in the day to set yourself up for success. Here are some wedding day breakfast ideas that are healthy, tasty, and pack a punch!

Granola Yogurt Bowls

Greek yogurt loaded with granola, nuts, freshly cut fruit and a maple syrup (or honey!) drizzle to top it off is a sweet way to start the day. Combined all together this breakfast will keep you feeling full and focused for the day ahead.

Toast

You can’t go wrong with this classic. Toast up some multi-grain bread and use your favorite nut butter as the spread to keep yourself feeling light yet satisfied. If you want to kick it up a notch, cut up some bananas and add them on top. Another great option is to make your own avocado toast!

Egg Scramble

Scrambled eggs with a side of sweet potato and avocado is a hearty wedding day breakfast idea that will get you ready to be on your feet all day. Not a fan of scrambled eggs? Try an omelet instead.

Mid-Day Wedding Snacks

Getting ready, taking photos, and greeting guests – it’s all a whirlwind! Make sure to keep some light snacks such as nuts, fresh fruit, or smoothies on hand to keep your energy levels up throughout the day.

Hydration is Key

To keep your skin looking great, water is absolutely key. Drink plenty of fluids and if possible avoid having too many carbonated drinks to keep yourself glowing inside and out.

Munch Away

Don’t be afraid of eating food throughout your wedding day! This day is about you and your husband-to-be having fun with friends, enjoying time with family, and enjoying some good food!
