The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here! After months of late nights planning and prepping, it’s time to step forward into your new life together. With the wedding getting closer and closer and a checklist that doesn’t seem to ever get smaller, I know it’s hard to step back from all the wedding preparations.
Through my experience with working with brides-to-be, I’ve gathered a few tips to help you enjoy a stress-free wedding day. Let’s get started!
Slow Morning Stretch
Ease your way into the day with a slow yet juicy morning stretch. It doesn’t have to be super long or make you sweaty, all you need to do is get your body moving. Take deep, slow breaths, stretch from side to side, up to the sky, and down to reach your toes. Feel your body waken up and start to flow. Short yet sweet, this little moment of mindfulness is the perfect way to calm your nerves.
A Breakfast Treat
One of the most important things you can do is to start off your wedding day with a nutritious breakfast. Switch out the greasy food with something light and tasty to prepare for a whole night of celebrations. One of my favorite treats is a breakfast bowl filled with fresh berries, Greek yogurt and granola. Simple yet delicious!
All Hands-on Deck
It’s time to delegate! Surround yourself with friends and family you trust to take the reins. No more planning or running around, today is all about you enjoying yourself. Ask a few good friends to lead the charge and take care of all the little details while you dance the night away!
Feel the Moment
With so many things going on, it’s easy to get swept away and distracted from what’s most important – you and your fiancé. It doesn’t matter if things are not going according to plan because today you get to marry the love of your life. When your thoughts begin to wander bring yourself back to the moment, breathe and let it all go.
