The Bridal Body Workout Guide

When you are trying to lose weight before your wedding or simply tone up, sometimes exercise motivation can be hard to find. Feeling motivated is especially important for those who haven’t been exercising for long and haven’t made fitness a regular habit. I am here to tell you that while motivation may be hard to find occasionally, online workouts can be highly effective, especially if you’re following one of my STF workout plans.

Many brides find working out at home allows them to have more freedom to move their bodies without fear of being watched, leading to a HUGE boost in confidence. So, the question remains, how do you stay motivated to work out at home so you can lose weight before your wedding day?

Turn Your Notifications on Silent

Okay, the first step to workout motivation is turning off your cellphone notifications. I know that it can be incredibly tempting to stop your workout and reply to your messages, but this is only a form of self-sabotage. If you want to lose weight before your wedding, you are going to have to be dedicated and determined to do so.

Now, you should not be burning yourself out (we only condone healthy habits here). But, putting your phone on “do not disturb” is a form of self-love when exercising. You are trying to work out for a reason; there is something YOU want to gain from it. So, put the distractions aside for the 30-45 mins you are working out, and I promise you will thank yourself later!

Find the Right Wedding Workout Plan for You

There is no better workout motivation than finding a plan suited for you. You are unique, so what works for someone else may not work for you. If you do not enjoy how you are achieving your fitness goals, the odds are you aren’t going to achieve them at all!

My best advice? Find a 1:1 wedding workout plan with a fitness coach whose goal is to see you thrive and achieve your wedding fitness aspirations! A workout routine tailored to your needs will help you see tangible results sooner rather than later. Not to mention that a 1:1 workout plan gives you the moral support and guidance you need to stay motivated.

Spice It Up and Make It Fun!

Keep your workouts fun! Nobody said you had to be doing the same routine every day. Mix it up a bit if you are getting bored to tears. For example, if you are tired of the same cardio routine you have been doing for the last couple of weeks or months, try something more engaging, such as an online Zumba class! Are you looking for something to tone your core muscles but are tired of trying basic exercise routines? Why not give Pilates a shot?

I love adding workouts I really enjoy like yoga and running to my regular weight training plan so it keeps me engaged and motivated. Playing upbeat music and listening great podcasts always helps too! Also, asking your bridesmaids and friends to join you at the gym or at home makes working out so much fun, so be sure to invite them to follow along.
